Once we receive your information, our admissions team will schedule an initial screening to determine the appropriate level of care and guide you through the next steps. Referrals are accepted from individuals, families, schools, medical professionals, and community agencies.

Bobby Benson Center provides a comprehensive range of treatment services to support individuals at every stage of recovery.

Our programs include:

• Residential Treatment for adolescents (ages 13–17) – 24-hour monitored care at our North Shore Kahuku facility.

• Outpatient (OP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services for both adolescents and adults – conveniently located in Kalihi.

Each program emphasizes healing through connection, empowerment, and transformation, addressing both substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

Our clinical team conducts a comprehensive assessment to determine the most appropriate level of care. We consider individual needs, mental health status, substance use history, and family circumstances. The goal is to ensure each client receives the right support in the right setting — whether that’s residential care, IOP, or outpatient services.

Bobby Benson Center accepts major insurance plans, including HMSA, UHA, Kaiser & Kaiser Quest, HMSA & HMSA Quest, United Healthcare Alliance, Optum, and Hawaii Laborers Union.

For those without insurance, we’ll work with you to explore state-funded options (such as CAMHD & ADAD) or discuss what other payment options are available. Our team is committed to helping every individual access the care they need without unnecessary barriers.
